Magic Kingdom is BUSY right now — so much is going on.

A lot of that has to do with the new attraction TRON / Lightcycle Run, which opens in the park NEXT MONTH. We’ve already been on the ride (and it was WILD), and we’ve seen a new addition added to Tomorrowland at its exit. But we’ve got even MORE updates happening in Magic Kingdom, so let’s get to those!

Magic Kingdom Construction Updates

One of the Splash Mountain penny machines is now gone. The ride has been closed since January 23rd, so we expect to see these eventually disappear. Grab your pennies while you can!

We’re also following the construction over at Space Mountain. It looks like Disney is working on the top spire there.

The Tomorrowland Light & Power Co. has some new features, including a brand new sign! The shop has been closed down for refurbishment, but now we’re getting to see some updates on the outside. Part of the sign is still covered, but we can see a new Tomorrowland skyline on it, as well as a cool clock!
