This month they’re debuting a brand new chef’s special inspired by one of their own chefs, Hannah, and there’s an interesting backstory to how it was created!

The Polite Pig at Disney Springs has won guests’ hearts (and stomachs) over for years with their Smoked Prime Rib Slider and refreshing specialty drinks like the Bourbon Blueberry Smash, and now they’ve made another exciting new announcement.

There’s a new chef’s special inspired and created by a female chef celebrating HerStory. HerStory is a month-long celebration at Disney Springs that features women that draw inspiration from the past and present obstacles they have overcome individually or with the help of family and friends.

The new chef’s special created by Hannah is called Grandmas’ Beef Tips & Gravy. It’s made of “white rice with creamy smoked mushroom, beef tenderloin, gravy, [and] maple glazed grilled carrots.”

While creating this new special, Hannah drew inspiration from the women surrounding her such as her grandmother, sister, and friends. The Polite Pig says it is celebrating Hannah as “a woman doing her own thing in an industry that’s so male-dominated.” We look forward to heading over to The Polite Pig to try Hannah’s dish soon!
