The 2019 Flavors of Florida event is officially on at Disney Springs in Walt Disney World!
Polite Pig Flavors of Florida
From now until September 2, 2019, guests can visit over 20 locations throughout Disney Springs to enjoy fun, Florida-themed dishes along with refreshing cocktails. Read all about the Flavors of Florida event here!
Today, we will be reviewing all of the new options (so be on the lookout for a few reviews) and we’re kicking things off with The Polite Pig. During the Flavors of Florida event, The Polite Pig will be serving a smoked prime rib slider and a Florida mango frosé.
The smoked prime rib slider is prime rib served with a citrus aïoli and a green papaya horseradish slaw. We LOVED this option and literally could have eaten three. Seriously so good! (:

Our favorite part was the SERIOUS flavor bomb of the slider — and we really enjoyed that papaya horseradish slaw. The aioli had a great hint of citrus, without it being overwhelming. The slider is $7 before tax!
The Florida Mango Frosé was a delicious option as well. It’s a fresh mango purée with sparkling rosé and citrus, topped with an orange slice and a cherry.

The drink was not too strong, but it was very refreshing. And there was a nice blend of mango and citrus flavors. The frosé is $11 before tax!
