20 years ago a clown fish father-son duo swam their way into our hearts and their blue tang friend taught us to ‘Just Keep Swimming!’ Yes, that’s right, Finding Nemo is 20 YEARS old (nothing like that little fact to make you feel ancient 🤣).

Go with the flow!
To celebrate this momentous anniversary, you could book a stay at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort (which has some Finding Nemo theming in one area), watch the revamped Finding Nemo musical at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, or visit some real fish at The Seas with Nemo and Friends in EPCOT. But D23, Disney’s official fan club, is also hosting a special event to mark the occasion that you might want to check out! Here’s what you need to know.
D23 is hosting a special event called “D23 Beyond the Sea: 20 Years of Finding Nemo”.
This members-only event will happen on April 2nd and 3rd at 5:30pm at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, CA.
Tickets are tiered according to your D23 membership, with the General Member ticket running $75 + a $7 processing fee per ticket. Gold Member tickets are $50 + a $7 processing fee per ticket.
Both types of tickets will go on sale Thursday, February 23rd, 2023, at 10AM Pacific Time, or 1PM Eastern.
Guests can start to check in for the event at 4:45PM at the Aquarium of the Pacific and find their seats in the Honda Pacific Visions Theater. Then, members will be treated to an informative presentation about the fish from the Finding Nemo film, followed by a special presentation of Finding Nemo.

Finding Nemo!
After that screening, guests will get PRIVATE aquarium access to explore the aquarium’s indoor exhibits until 9:30PM. There will also be some limited snack spots and a gift store open so guests can make purchases. And guests will get a “commemorative keepsake.”

Art of Animation’s Finding Nemo Outdoors!
Members may reserve a ticket for themselves and up to 3 additional guests, with each guest needing a ticket to enter. Members MUST bring their D23 card and ID in order to be admitted.
Again, tickets go on sale on February 23rd, 2023, at 10AM Pacific Time, or 1PM Eastern, so mark those calendars!

This event could be a special experience for really big Finding Nemo fans! But if you can’t make it, don’t worry. There are more D23 events on the way for 2023 — just be sure to check back for updates.
