Okay, who’s ready to enter The Grid with Magic Kingdom’s new ride? TRON Lightcycle / Run will take Disney World guests on a thrilling lightcycle ride through a “dark computerized world.”

TRON’s big opening is coming up soon on April 4th, and we’re starting to see a LOT of updates on the site, like the sign in front of the ride. We’ve also seen some ride vehicle testing. Well, now, we just saw ANOTHER update — we now know what Cast Members on the ride will be wearing!
So we were in Magic Kingdom and saw some TRON Cast Members walking around in their brand-new outfits. The outfits are inspired by the outfits worn by Lightcycle racers in the TRON movies.

One Cast Member was even kind enough to pose for us, showing off the black, white, and blue uniforms. Snazzy!

The back even has the details from the TRON movie outfit. Also, we LOVE the vibes this Cast Member is giving us. WERK.

We’ve recently learned more about the ride requiring a virtual queue (although the Individual Lightning Lane option will also be available), how guests will need to store their belongings in lockers, and how some seats on the ride are adaptive for guests unable to use the standard ride vehicles.

Of course, before that, there will be previews for select Disney World guests, but you can bet we’ll be there on opening day covering EVERYTHING about the new ride.
