It’s about that time — let’s see what’s been going on in EPCOT!
It’s festival time!
Since we last checked in, the 2023 Festival of the Arts began! If you missed our posts we were in the park on the first day of the festival reviewing all of the food booths and checking out all of the festivities.
Besides the festival celebrations, there are still a ton of other updates in EPCOT to review. Let’s take a look and see!
EPCOT Merchandise Updates
World Traveler
The Figment scavenger hunt is running right now during the Festival of the Arts. You can get your scavenger hunt board at World Traveler, which is also where you can collect your prize after finishing! This year you can pick from four different paint-your-own-figurine kits. We noticed a bit more progress on Journey of Water – Inspired by Moana!

You can see the structure of stones with the symbol of the Heart of Te Fiti in it, as well as the back of the massive Te Fiti sculpture.
We can’t wait to see it finished!
The inner structure for CommuniCore Hall is also coming along nicely.

We also noticed an area of pavement blocked off in the Italy Pavilion. We wonder what it was for!
