Disney World has a variety of transportation options when it comes to traveling within the resort. You have their classic buses, the iconic Monorail, a few boats, and a newer system called the Skyliner.
Disney World’s Skyliner
This gondola system is a new favorite for many guests. Plus, it stops at several resorts and parks, making it not only novel but convenient.
Unfortunately, beginning tomorrow guests are going to have to opt for another transportation option for a short time. The Skyliner will be closing on January 22nd for refurbishment. But don’t worry! This won’t be a long closure, unlike some other attraction refurbishments that are also scheduled in the near future. The Skyliner will be reopening on January 29th, 2023.

If you’re staying at Caribbean Beach, Art of Animation, or another resort with a Skyliner hub, make sure to plan in advance! You also won’t be able to use the Skyliner to get to or leave EPCOT or Hollywood Studios. During this time, you can choose from a variety of other transportation options for getting around the resort, including Disney’s bus system or the Monorail. Or, if you’d prefer something more private, you can opt to use a rideshare company, like the Minnie Vans run by Lyft.
