It’s officially 2023, which means Disney fans around the world are celebrating a CENTURY of The Walt Disney Company! This is a huge milestone, and Disney is inviting fans to share and celebrate the ways in which Disney has become part of their lives.

Whether you’re an avid park-goer, merchandise collector, or simply love having Disney movie nights at home, Disney has probably left a lasting impression on you in one way or another. And to think it all started with a mouse! Mickey and Minnie are celebrating their huge milestone in numerous ways around the world — and you can, too!

Disney recently announced the details of the Disney100 Celebration — and you don’t want to miss out.

In honor of our favorite mouse, Disney is joining fans in sharing the wondrous world of Disney by kicking off monthly “Wonder of…” celebrations with “Wonder of Mickey and Minnie” for the month of January.

At Disneyland, you can join in on the celebration starting January 27, 2023.

The BRAND NEW attraction Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway will open on January 27 in Disneyland park inside the El CapiTOON Theater.

On this ride, you’ll board a train conducted by Goofy and follow along as Mickey and Minnie journey to the park for a picnic.

We will be reporting from Disneyland on the 27th and can’t wait to share all of the big 100th anniversary celebrations with you!!

At Disneyland Paris, you can celebrate Polka Dot Day alongside Minnie Mouse with special treats, shows, and PhotoPass opportunities! Every January 22, Disney fans celebrate Minnie and her iconic, frilly style by decking out in lace, frills, and POLKA DOTS! This year, Minnie will be performing in a BRAND NEW, LIMITED-TIME show in Walt Disney Studios Park at Disneyland Paris in honor of Disney100.

And get this– you can meet Minnie Mouse in front of a brand new celebratory backdrop that features an exclusive MagicShot!

It’s undeniable that the snacks are one of the best parts about visiting the Disney parks. At Disney World and Disney Springs, guests will be able to try one of the BRAND NEW exciting treats!

If you’re hungry and in the mood for a celebratory snack, you can try the Mickey & Minnie Chocolate Covered Apples from the Confectionary in Magic Kingdom, Mickey & Minnie Mousse Dome Cakes from Amorette’s Patisserie at Disney Springs, and the Vintage Mickey and Minnie Sugar Cookie at Carousel Coffee, the NEW coffeeshop open at Boardwalk!

To celebrate Mickey himself and each of the roles he’s played over the past century, you can embark on a brand new journey at Disneyland. You can go on a tour of Walt Disney Studios or The Walt Disney Archives in Burbank, California to celebrate and explore the history of Mickey Mouse.
