Actor Jeremy Renner shared his first update this morning after being involved in a snow plow accident over the weekend.
He posted a photo of himself from his hospital bed on his Instagram page thanking friends and fans alike for the outpouring of love and well wishes. Renner has been recovering in the Intensive Care Unit after multiple surgeries. His family reported he was in “critical but stable” condition, but now that the Hawkeye actor has shared an update himself, the well wishes are continuing — and from some very heroic celebrities.
Jeremy Renner posted a photo to his Instagram of himself in a hospital bed. The caption on the photo reads, “Thank you all for your kind words. Im too messed up now to type. But I send love to you all.” This was the first update we heard from the actor personally following the snow plow-related accident.
And now, quite a few of Renner’s famous Marvel actor friends have commented on the post, sharing positive messages and hoping he has a speedy recovery! Chris Hemsworth, who plays Marvel’s Thor, replied, “Speedy recovery buddy. Sending love your way!”
Chris Evans, another Marvel star, said, “Tough as nails. Love you buddy,” while the third Chris, Chris Pratt, A.K.A. StarLord, shared, “Continued prayers your way brutha.”
Also sharing words of encouragement were the Russo Brothers, who directed Avengers: Endgame and Infinity War, replied, “Sending all of our love, brother, and hopes for a speedy recovery.” Marvel director and actor Taika Waititi shared, “My brother I love you,” and Josh Brolin, who played Thanos in the Marvel franchise, said, “Close but no cigar. You’re blessed. Quick recovery, brother.”
But it wasn’t just Marvel stars sharing their love for Jeremy Renner, as celebrities like Heidi Klum, Vanessa Hudgens, Orlando Bloom, Kate Hudson, Isla Fisher, Penelope Cruz, Jimmy Fallon, and more posted kind messages.
Renner was reportedly clearing his driveway so that some family members could leave after the holidays. Authorities received a 911 call “reporting a crash involving a snowcat, a device used to remove snow, and a pedestrian on Mount Rose Highway.” Reports indicate Renner was run over by the snowcat after it started to roll away while he wasn’t inside, and he was injured as he tried to get back into the vehicle.
We continue to wish Jeremy Renner a speedy recovery!
