We’ve got some BIG events coming up in Disney World in 2023!
The Festival of the Arts is kicking off in a few weeks at EPCOT, and After Hours events are returning to Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios in January. But one of the first things that’s coming up soon is the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend from runDisney, and we just got a sneak peek at the event merchandise!
The new collection is 90s-inspired and features a variety of Disney characters and inspiration from old runDisney merchandise. There are plenty of pieces to choose from.
You can get the “I did it!” finisher shirts in multiple styles and colors, depending on which races you complete. We love the retro color schemes!
They also have a selection of zip-up jackets and hoodies for each of the different races that take place throughout the weekend.
You can shop these items at the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. All guests can attend during the following times:
- Wednesday, January 4th: 10AM-8PM
- Thursday, January 5th: 12PM-7PM
- Friday, January 6th: 10AM-7PM
- Saturday, January 7th: 11AM-3PM
If you want to be among the first to do your shopping, you can join the virtual queue to access the runDisney Merchandise Shop on the first day of the Expo. The virtual queue will be the only way to access the shop on the first day.
This year’s collection also has some special items, like the Corkcicle tumbler and a Loungefly backpack. We love it!
We’ll make sure to bring you any more updates about the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend in the next few days. The event takes place from January 4th-7th, 2023 and will likely affect crowds in the parks during that time. The races are run early in the morning and may also affect traffic patterns around property, so be aware.
If you’re heading to Disney World in 2023, stay tuned to DFB for the latest news and updates about all the upcoming events! There’s a lot happening in the next 12 months and we’ll make sure to share it ALL.
