Pixar Medals Revealed for runDisney’s Springtime Surprise Races

Pixar fans, it’s time to lace up those running shoes!

Disney announced previously that the theme of the 2023 runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend would be Pixar Pals, and now we have a first look at the designs for the race medals!

The Pixar Pals theme combines friendship and Pixar, letting runners celebrate the importance of a strong support system through iconic characters. The Pixar characters featured during the race embody what it feels like to have a sense of community and someone who is always there to have your back.

We now have a reveal of the official race medals! These are all finisher medals, meaning everyone who participates and completes their race will receive them. Talk about teamwork! First up we have the medal for the 5k race. Lightning McQueen is the true meaning of speed, but you can sprint, jog, or walk through their 3.1-mile course to complete this race.

This fun medal is for the 10k! If you’re interested in a longer race, this is the one for you. At the end, you’ll receive this medal featuring Mike and Sully, hidden behind Boo’s door.

Look at you go! Some of our favorite Toy Story characters are featured on the medal for those who finish the epic 10-mile race.

Lastly, this Finding Nemo medal is for those who complete ALL THREE races! This medal has Nemo, Dory, and Crush, 3 awesome characters to celebrate your achievement of completing 3 epic races.

If you haven’t yet signed up but are interested in attending in person, there are still some spaces available for the Disney Pixar Toy Story 10 Miler! For those who want to join along at home, you can pick your own unique race to run during the same weekend. Happy racing!
