Get ready to stay up past your bedtime, because Disneyland After Dark events are returning in 2023!
These special ticketed events happen after regular park hours, which means guests can take advantage of fewer crowds, lower wait times, and more. Disney just announced the dates and details for the 2023 Disneyland After Dark events — including a BRAND NEW event, and we can’t wait to check them out!
Mark your calendars because TWO Disneyland After Dark events have been announced for 2023! Guests can enjoy “magical entertainment, encounters with beloved Disney characters, one-of-a-kind photo opportunities, scrumptious foods and drinks, collectible merchandise and more.” So, which events can we expect to enjoy?!
For the first time ever, guests can experience Disneyland After Dark: Princess Nite! This brand new event “will be a celebration under the stars where adventurous heroines and aspirational hearts unite! Immerse yourself in this empowering night at Disneyland park with iconic characters who light the world with kindness, courage, and a touch of magic.”
Not only that, but there will be shimmering decor, photo ops, themed food and drinks, and commemorative keepsakes. Oh, and of course there will be princesses! Guests will be greeted at by Princess Minnie Mouse and Princess Daisy Duck, be treated to a concert featuring Moana and Merida, dance to jazz music in New Orleans Square with Tiana, and more. There will even be a candy-themed dance party with Vanellope von Schweetz in Tomorrowland!
Disneyland After Dark: Princess Nite will take place on March 7th and 9th, 2023 at Disneyland Park, and tickets will be available on December 12th (no earlier than 9AM PT) to Magic Key Holders. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on December 14th (no earlier than 9AM PT).
And, Disneyland After Dark: Sweetheart’s Nite is returning to Disneyland Park on January 31st, plus February 2, 5, 7, 9, 14, and 16, 2023. Have a Disney “date night” and enjoy a special fireworks show, Royal Ball, live jazz music, live Polynesian music, exclusive snacks, and photo ops!
Both Disneyland After Dark events start with a “three-hour pre-party mix-in” meaning that from 6PM to 9PM you’ll be mingling with regular park guests. But, the party really starts when day guests have to leave at 9PM — then you’ll have Disneyland Park to enjoy until 1AM!
If you want to check out either after hours party, make sure you set an alarm for when tickets go on sale! We’ll continue to keep an eye out for more details and let you know what we find out.
