There is a LOT going on Magic Kingdom right now. The holiday decorations have arrived, the Christmas tree is up, and we spotted some celebrities filming for a holiday special earlier today!

Now, though, it looks like there’s going to be a little more excitement. Disney World has announced that it will be launching fireworks LATE at Magic Kingdom over the next few days.
In a Facebook post, the Walt Disney World Cast and Community posted that fireworks would be launching from Magic Kingdom between 11:30PM and 2AM every night from tonight, November 12th, through November 14th.

Disney did not give a reason for the late fireworks, but presumably they are for the holiday special that we saw filming for earlier: The Wonderful World of Disney Magical Holiday Celebration. So if you live in the area or are staying at a hotel nearby and hear fireworks late at night, that’s probably why!

The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration will air on ABC on November 27th from 8-10PM ET. So mark your calendars, so you can watch it!
