Technically, it’s still Halloween Time in Disneyland, but let’s face it — the holidays are already starting to sneak in.

We’ve already seen holiday merchandise in Disneyland, and we’ve already got a full list of food booths for the Festival of the Holidays in Disney California Adventure. Now, though, Disneyland’s iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle is showing off its snowy holiday look — in OCTOBER.

When we arrived in Disneyland this morning, we saw Sleeping Beauty Castle looking a little more festive than usual. To quote Jack Skellington, “What’s this?”

THIS is snow that’s been added to the castle, which is part of its annual holiday makeover. Yes, it may feel a little early, but it’s still quite pretty!

And soon, Sleeping Beauty Castle will be getting ANOTHER makeover, this time for the Walt Disney Company’s 100th anniversary! So Sleeping Beauty Castle is just flexing its holiday outfit a little early before it gets its platinum upgrade!

So don’t be surprised if you pop into Disneyland and see snow on the castle in the middle of Halloween Time! If you’re planning on visiting Disneyland during the holidays, though, be sure to make those park pass reservations soon — it’s a popular time of year to visit the parks, especially with the Festival of Holidays going on in Disney California Adventure.
