From classic pineapple to orange swirl and more, there are plenty of flavors to choose from — and from time to time we see special flavors pop up in the parks and resorts. Disney shared that a NEW Dole, Whip Float would be coming to one spot, and you KNOW we had to check it out — so come with us!

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is a tropical-themed oasis on Seven Seas Lagoon, and it’s home to Pineapple Lanai. This quick-service joint specializes in — what else?? — all things Dole Whip! And right now, to celebrate the runDisney Wine & Dine Half Marathon you can get the Explosion of Flavors Dole Whip Float!

It’s made with Dole Whip Raspberry, Rose Regale Sparkling Wine, and is topped with strawberries, raspberries, and a cheese-shaped wedge of chocolate for the Wine & Dine theme! But, how does it compare to the OG Dole Whip?

But how does it taste?!

Listen, when they say “Explosion of Flavors,” they mean it! This float was absolutely delicious. The combination of the sparkling rosé and the raspberry Dole Whip was a hit — the bubbles from the wine helped cut down on some of the sweetness from the raspberry Dole Whip and it almost reminded us of Pop Rocks.

The fresh raspberries and strawberries on top of the float were incredibly fresh and paired really well with the soft serve. The white chocolate cheese wedge was a bit chalky, but it was cute! The rosé is just a super fun touch, but unfortunately, when we asked a Cast Member, they told us this float can’t be made without alcohol, so keep that in mind.

This would be a great treat for fans of rosé or raspberry, or someone looking for a fruity, light, boozy dessert! For $13.50, it’s definitely shareable — or keep it all to yourself because we thought it was THAT good. The Explosion of Flavors Dole Whip Float is only available from November 3rd to November 6th, so hurry over to Pineapple Lanai if you want to try it!
