Disney Munchlings are new treat-themed plushes that have been FLYING off the shelves.
Whether you’re into the big Munchlings or the blind boxes, we get it if you can’t get enough of the Mickey Mouse Cinnamon Roll or the Minnie Mouse Cupcake. We were invited to visit Disney Springs today to check out the newest addition to the Disney Munchlings plus a special treat — find out which character it is here!
The Disney Munchlings were created when Master Baker Pierre Dumonet accidentally slammed the door too hard when leaving Main Street Confectionery. Magic spilled onto some sweet treats, and the Disney Munchlings were born! Many favorite characters have since been transformed into sweet treats, but one notable character has been missing.
We’re talking about Donald Duck! We were invited to stop by World of Disney in Disney Springs for a very special announcement, including the release of both the first Donald Duck Munchling plush and the Donald Duck Munchling Cake!
Amorette’s Patisserie Chef Stefan Riemer created the Donald Duck Munchling Cake, which is made with vanilla chiffon cake, Japanese sponge roll, yuzu curd, yuzu chantilly, caramel ganache, blueberry jam, and jalapeño gel drizzled on Donald’s hat. He explained that the jalapeño gel connects with Donald’s spicy personality and attitude!
We got to try this adorable treat and we thought that the vanilla chiffon cake was soft and moist, and the blueberry jam on top plus the whole blueberries paired well and added some nice texture. We expected some heat from the jalapeño gel but we didn’t get much spice, so it was pretty mild.

The lemon yuzu curd shoes looked great but they were harder to chew, especially in contrast with the softness of the cake. But overall this would be a great treat for Donald Duck fans!
If you enjoy cupcakes or are a fan of lemon and blueberry, you might want to give this a try, but keep in mind that at $14 this is definitely on the pricier end of Disney desserts. Stop by Amorette’s Patisserie if it sounds worth it to you!
But if you’re more interested in a Donald Duck Munchling plush, you can pick one up at World of Disney now, which is right next to Amorette’s Patisserie.
This new Munchling is limited edition so you may want to head to Disney Springs ASAP! We’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for more Donald appearances around Disney World while supplies last.
Don’t forget to grab a matching Donald #DisneyMunchlings when you try this treat at Amorette’s Patisserie! #hosted @DisneyParks @DisneySprings pic.twitter.com/Z2VjveeEMu
