Fantasmic! is FINALLY back in Disney World!
The show is reopening in Disney’s Hollywood Studios tonight, and we’re sure there will be a lot of people trying to check it out. We’ve already gotten a preview of the show (well most of it before it was RAINED OUT), and there’s a whole new sequence to watch. So, is the park crowded on the day of the show’s return? Let’s find out!
Throughout the day, we saw groups of people lining up at the entrance hoping to get in line for the show. This photo was taken around 4:30PM.
A Cast Member told us that guests would need to wait until the Beauty and the Beast show theater was cleared. After that they would be able to start the lineup process. They said once this happened, guests would be able to start lining up around 6:15-6:30. BUT, they ended up starting the line early instead.
This is what it looked like at 5:40PM.
It was all the way back by Trolley Car Cafe.
Here is another look at the massive line.

They ended up just having the line crowd on the right side of the street to try to keep everything a bit more in order. And we soon were moved up to Sunset Ranch Market. Here was our view at 6PM.
And soon after, they opened the amphitheater for guests waiting for the show.
And the amphitheater has opened for Fantasmic! tonight!

On opening night, there were two showings of Fantasmic!. One at 8PM and one at 9:30PM. So, as you can see, a massive line formed well before the show.
You can see the full list of showtimes here!
Around 7, the amphitheater filled up.
And at 7:20, it was announced the the first show was at capacity. Here is a look at the line that had formed for the second show around 7:30PM.
