Did Disney's Lightsaber Ears Get a Downgrade? You Decide.

Okay, Star Wars fans! How many pairs of Star Wars ears do you have?

Maybe you’ve got those sweet Darth Vader ears or the Ahsoka Tano ears, or maybe you managed to grab those fun Lightsaber Ears we saw earlier this year. If you didn’t get those Lightsaber Ears, though, we’ve got something to tell you — some NEW Lightsaber Ears are now available in Disneyland. BUT, they’re not quite the same.

Okay, the Lightsaber Ears we previously saw were pretty nice. Not only did they have lightsabers on them, but they also had the Rebel Alliance symbol on one ear and the Empire symbol on the other with the Star Wars logo in the middle. AND THEY LIT UP! Plus they were only $22 at the time.

These Are So Cool!

Okay, so let’s look at the NEW Lightsaber Ears we just found — they’ve got lightsabers on them, but, well, that’s about it. The ears are made from something like a shiny black vinyl. We will say that we like the detail on the lightsaber hilts here.

The headband says “MTFBWY” (May the Force Be With You)! Also, the headband looks way more comfortable than the plastic headband from the previous pair of lightsaber ears.

These ears, which don’t light up like the ones we saw before, are $34.99.
