The holidays are coming up soon, and Disney is getting ready!
Disney World does up the holiday season BIG — decorations are put up overnight right after Halloween, Christmas trees and gingerbread houses are scattered throughout the resort, and there’s a ton of special food. This year will also see the return of EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. And, while a lot of people will be in the parks around Christmas, there’s another important holiday you need to plan for — Thanksgiving!
Dining reservations are open NOW for Thanksgiving Day in Disney World!
If you’re going to be at Disney for the holiday and want to make sure you can eat at a restaurant where they’re serving a special meal, you should go ahead and book your table now, because the reservations can go fast.
Last year, we saw special Thanksgiving food at places like Tiffins, Tusker House, Enzo’s Hideaway, Raglan Road, Topolino’s Terrace, Toledo, and Whispering Canyon Cafe.
In past years, we’ve seen that a lot of Disney World’s table service restaurants will offer at least some version of a turkey dish on Thanksgiving Day, even if it’s not announced beforehand.
If you’re planning on being in Disney World for Thanksgiving, make sure you go ahead and grab your park tickets and make your Park Pass Reservations, because you need both to get into the parks and the reservations CAN get booked up for big holidays like this!
And, the day after Thanksgiving is the start of the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, so it might be a good idea to make a reservation for EPCOT that day if you want to be one of the first people to try out all of the festive eats. We’ll be bringing you more about the festival soon.
