Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will soon be taking over the Splash Mountain rides at both Disneyland and Disney World.
We’ve shared concept art, details about a NEW Tiana restaurant(!), and even a FIRST LOOK at the new ride. But now we’ve got MORE Tiana-inspired news!
In addition to a Tiana-inspired restaurant, those over at Disneyland will get some extra Tiana fun when Eudora’s Chic Boutique opens up! We got to see details about this new merchandise shop at the D23 Expo in the Disney Parks and Experiences’ Wonderful World of Dreams booth.
The full name of the shop is Eudora’s Chic Boutique Featuring Tiana’s Gourmet Secrets!
According to the story, Tiana’s Palace (the new restaurant coming to New Orleans Square in Disneyland) opened up and quickly became a meeting place. Tiana then used her success to support surrounding neighborhoods. Disney shared that after Tiana opened her restaurant, they expanded into essentially creating or helping the creation of more community-owned businesses — that’s where Eudora’s Boutique comes in!
The store is owned by Eudora, which for those who may not remember, is actually Princess Tiana’s mom! As the name indicates, it’ll sell a line of merchandise that will feature Tiana’s very own spices and sauces.
Disney’s concept art shows a shop full of different little knick-knacks, so we can’t wait to see what other items become available here.
According to the story of this shop and the surrounding area, all of the spices are actually “grown” within the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure ride.
In the model of the ride that was on display, you can see some spices and other plants “growing” there.
More concept art reveals the area where Eudora’s Chic Boutique will be located.
In one depiction, you can see what appears to be the sign for the store above those green “35” doors, and on the yellow wall to the right you’ll see one of the iconic phrases from The Princess and The Frog — “blue skies and sunshine guaranteed!”
As it stands, this is just concept art that has been revealed so far, but we’re excited to see how things develop and get a look at the finalized store once it opens in Disneyland.
Keep in mind that the re-themed version of Splash Mountain will not reopen as Tiana’s Bayou Adventure until 2024. But this shop is set to open on September 20, 2022!!
We’ll continue to look for more updates and share those details with you. In the meantime, you can click here to see more details about the Tiana-themed restaurant or click here to get a first look at the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure ride.
We’ll be sharing FULL coverage of all the breaking news from the D23 Expo, so stay tuned for more!
