BoardWalk Inn General Updates

The former ESPN Club has been all but erased from BoardWalk history to make way for a NEW restaurant and bakery — the Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers. This new spot is set to open sometime in 2023, though a specific date has not been announced just yet.

This isn’t the first Cake Bake Shop to exist, and we recently checked out one of the other locations. You can read all about that and what we might be able to expect from the BoardWalk location at the link below!

Wilderness Lodge General Updates

Guess who we spotted on a recent visit to the Wilderness Lodge?! There were quite a few characters out and about greeting and interacting with guests, like Max Goof (unfortunately not in his Powerline Halloween costume)…

…Rafiki…

…Mr. Smee…

…Eeyore…

…King Louie, and more! Disney will occasionally have characters interacting with guests in less popular areas as part of Cast Member training, so you never know who you might run into while you’re walking around Disney World hotels!

We’ll be keeping an eye out for what’s new around Disney World, so be sure to stay tuned for the latest updates!
