A lot can happen at Disney World in just a few days!

For example, in the past few days, we’ve gotten more information about when guests will be able to make reservations at the Galactic Starcruiser (a.k.a. the Star Wars Hotel), plus we’ve seen a new update come to Genie+, and we’ve even gotten the news that one of Disney World’s mini golf courses will be temporarily closing for refurbishment soon. With how fast things happen in Disney World, we go to the parks almost every day so we can bring the most up-to-date information, so today, we’re heading to Disney’s Hollywood Studios to see what’s new. 

Hollywood Studios Construction Updates

Toy Story Land

First up, we noticed a change with the construction walls surrounding the new Roundup Rodeo BBQ restaurant that’s coming to Toy Story Land. The walls used to have concept art for the restaurant, but they are now blank.

For reference, this is what the area looked like before:

This restaurant was originally supposed to open back in 2020 but was delayed. Disney has shared that it will open sometime this year, but no specific details have been announced yet.

Rock Around the Shop

The MADE Machine had been removed from Rock Around the Shop.

There are still regular phone cases available for sale despite its removal.

Guest Experience

And our final construction update is that the Guest Experience kiosk is no longer located outside of the theater for Beauty and the Beat — Live on Stage.

This kiosk is now located over by Tower Hotel Gifts, the gift shop at the end of Tower of Terror.

Hollywood Studios Merchandise Updates

The Darkroom

At The Darkroom, we saw this Minnie Mouse Pumpkin Magnet! We’ve seen the Mickey version already, and we’ve seen the Minnie Mouse magnet in Disneyland, but this is the first time we’ve spotted the Minnie one on the east coast. It is $14.99.

Also at The Darkroom is this Bo Peep from Toy Story Apple Watch band!

It’s pink and has sheep on it along with Bo dressed the way she appears in Toy Story 4. The band is $36.99.

Mickey’s of Hollywood

Need a new pair of socks? We saw two pairs of socks at Mickey’s of Hollywood! There are the Donald Duck socks…

…and Dumbo socks!

Both pairs are $14.99 each.

Legends of Hollywood

Does everyone remember those REALLY expensive Coach x Disney Minnie ears? Well, the white pair is back in stock at Legends of Hollywood!

These ears are Coach leather with lots of Disney-themed patches and pins all over them. They are available for $295.

Tower Hotel Gifts

Tower Hotel Gifts is the gift shop at the end of Tower of Terror and is a good spot to check if you’re looking to snag some Nightmare Before Christmas merchandise. When we were there recently, we spotted the Nightmare Before Christmas tote bag!

We’ve seen this bag already in Magic Kingdom, and now it’s available at Hollywood Studios. It is $34.99.

Tatooine Traders

And finally, at Tatooine Traders, we spotted this Grogu mug.

This mug has Grogu standing in front of the sun with the words “Good Morning” on it. It is $14.99.
