Well, we at DFB also have our sights set on the upcoming attraction — TRON Lightcycle Run. And while Disney hasn’t announced an opening timeline for this ride quite yet, we’re monitoring construction to see how close (or far) we are from an opening. Let’s take a look!
Thanks to the handy dandy PeopleMover, we’ve been getting a great view of the construction going on at TRON Lightcycle Run. And Oh. My. CONCRETE. WALLS.

Concrete walls have taken over the area! For reference, this is what the same spot looked like only a month ago:

As you can see, a looooot of progress is being made around the tunnel that the Walt Disney World Railroad will pass through. But the tunnel section isn’t the only area being worked on. Walls are going up all around the construction zone!
More Walls Going Up
We’re hoping that all of this progress means an opening date for the attraction and the Walt Disney Railroad is in sight! We recently saw Cast Members training for the railroad, so we’ll let you know as soon as an opening date is announced.
