Disney World is constantly getting new snacks, drinks, and menu items!

The Drop Off

In the past few months alone, we’ve seen new snacks for Disney World’s 50th Anniversary, multiple menu overhauls at restaurants, and plenty of new treats “just because.” One place where you can often count on new additions is at The Drop Off Pool Bar at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, and recently, we found a new drink there that we think our readers are going to be VERY interested in!

Each month, The Drop Off adds new limited-time beverages to its menu. This month, one of the additions is Frozen POG Juice Rum Punch! For those of you who aren’t familiar with POG juice, it stands for passion fruit, orange, and guava, and it’s a super popular beverage in Disney World. We’ve seen similar “spiked” versions of this drink in the past, but this one is perfect for sipping poolside. 

Frozen POG Juice Rum Punch

Our reviewer thought this drink was incredibly refreshing on a hot day, and a great choice for POG juice lovers. The rum wasn’t overpowering, but the orange juice flavor did come through a little strong. We would’ve liked a bit more balance between the fruit flavors in the juice.

It’s heavy on the OJ!

If you want to pick up this slush, it’s $13. We’d definitely recommend it to POG fans, but you may want to stay away if you’re not a big orange juice person. (That particular flavor was STRONG.) It’s a great drink for the summer season!
