Come Try A NEW Lunch Box Tart Flavor in Disney World With Us!

This 4th of July we’re making sure to bring our lunch box to the parks!

Well, not bring our lunchbox, instead we’re going to go to Woody’s Lunch Box! This weekend, we’re running all over the parks trying to taste all of the new 4th of July treats. Over in Hollywood Studios, Woody is sharing something new this Independence Day!

In case you don’t know, we love Woody’s Lunch Box in Toy Story Land but we especially love the Lunch Box Tarts! They come in a few different flavors that switch out every once in a while — we even recently tried a seasonal Peanut Butter Banana tart! That’s why we were pretty excited when we saw Disney was offering a new 4th of July Lunch Box Tart for $4.29!

Here it is!

This brand-new treat features a cherry pie filling and is topped with vanilla fondant and star sprinkles. We have to say, it honestly looks pretty good, and it tastes good too! The pastry is light and flaky, and the cherry pie filling isn’t too tart and also doesn’t taste artificial at all.

However, we did find the vanilla fondant frosting to be too thick, especially when paired with the flakiness of the pastry and the little bit of filling inside. We think this treat is especially good for kids or people who enjoy sweet fruit-flavored snacks, but if you’re not a fruit fan, run the other way!

One thing we love about Box Lunch Tarts is we think they’re a great size to share with a friend and this holiday version is no different! Don’t wait around if you want to try this tart, it will only be here from July 1st through July 4th!
