Pixar’s newest movie, Lightyear, is almost here!
We’ve seen tons of stuff around the Disney parks celebrating the new movie including Minnie Ears, and a hilarious Ice Cream Cone! We also know that a Lightyear drinking Gauntlet is coming to Disneyland soon, that they just opened up an Epic Sweepstakes, and that you can get a free Lightyear collectible online. If that’s not enough Lightyear for you, then don’t worry, we found another treat in Disney World!
This Lightyear treat is now available at Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies in Tomorrowland in Magic Kingdom! It’s called a Zurg Freeze, and it has black currant slush, strawberry dole whip, and boba pearls. It’s available now for $6.49.
This treat was nice and cold, which was perfect for a hot summer day in Florida! It was refreshing, and we enjoyed it more when we stirred it together to combine the flavors. The tartness of the black currant was a good contrast to the strawberry dole whip, and we appreciated how it wasn’t overly sweet!
We weren’t the biggest fans of the strawberry dole whip itself. It tasted more like bubblegum to us, and it was melting fast. We also didn’t pick up any strong flavors from the boba pearls, so it feels like they were just for decoration. While the black currant taste was more subtle than the strawberry, it was super tart, and left us needing water at the end!
A villain treat? This early in the day? 👀
Alright, don’t twist our arm (Seriously 😅)

If you need something fruity and refreshing, give this a try, but if you’re not into strawberry or black currant, then maybe skip this dessert for another one! This was a great treat for a hot day, even if the flavors didn’t stick the landing perfectly.
If you want another frozen treat to cool down on a very hot Disney World day, the Cranberry Vanilla Grumpy Cone is back over at Storybook Treats!
If you want to give this a try, it’s $6.49 at Auntie Gravity’s. If you’re looking for a more humorous Lightyear treat, then you can try this Buzz Lightyear ice cream cone from Swirls on the Water in Disney Springs! This ice cream was yummy and refreshing, it just looked nothing like the advertised picture!
