We just celebrated May the 4th in Disney World with new merchandise, tasty treats, and some galactic surprises, but now there’s another holiday to celebrate!
Do you know what day it is?
It’s Cinco de Mayo! There’s not as much going on in Disney World for the holiday compared to Star Wars Day, but we DID find a new treat that we just had to try out — so let’s go!
This is the Cinco de Oh-My-O Donut (clever, right?) from Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew at Disney Springs!
Doesn’t this look tasty?!
It’s a flaky croissant dough sprinkled with cinnamon sugar and topped with buttercream, crushed Heath Bar, and drizzles of caramel & chocolate icing — YUM!
We can’t wait to dig in
Oh, and there’s also a cute little churro on top!
Tiny churro!!
This very much tastes like if a churro was a cronut (you know, the croissant donuts)! The best of both worlds, right? The soft buttercream on top combined with the crunchy candy added some great contrasting texture.
Flakiness galore
It was very sweet though, which could be a little overwhelming if you tried to eat the whole thing yourself. We’d recommend sharing this one with someone else, especially because it’s pretty big!
You’ll probably want to share!
This is definitely an over-the-top treat in both size and sweetness, so it’s great if you’re looking for a filling dessert or something to split with a friend. But, if you’re looking for something sweet that’s light and refreshing, this is not the one you should go for — go get a Dole Whip instead!
This donut won’t be there for long!
