Calling all ice cream lovers — there’s a NEW sweet shop in Disney World just for you!

Salt & Straw in Disney Springs!
Salt & Straw officially opens today in Disney Springs and we’ve been bringing you along for a look at the menu and all that there is to see inside! There’s already a long line (including a virtual queue) to get a scoop, but we’ve got the SECRET to skipping the wait entirely!
There’s something for everyone at Salt & Straw, and it’s sure to be an experience you’ve never tasted before. We already got a taste of some flavors like Olive Oil, Strawberry Honey Balsamic with Black Pepper, and Cinnamon Snickerdoodle (we weren’t kidding when we said they had unique flavors), and with so many wild options, you may find yourself wanting to come back again…and again…and again to try something new.

Just Some of the Flavors!
But, if opening day crowds are any indication of just how popular this new ice cream shop will be, you might find yourself waiting a long time just to give a few flavors a try. Luckily, there’s a way to SKIP the line entirely with online ordering! Here’s how it works!
First, you’ll want to head on over to the Salt & Straw website, and click on the bright orange “local pickup & delivery” button in the upper right-hand corner.

Then, you’ll click on the “Disney” button that has the castle icon.

The location information for both Downtown Disney and Disney Springs will pop up, so you’ll want to be sure that you’re selecting the Disney Springs option to be sure your ice cream will be ready for ya on the east coast! You’ll also notice that the location’s hours, directions, address, phone number, are here in case you need it for reference.
Go ahead and click on the bright orange “order now” button to continue with your online order!

To start your order, you’ll choose the number of scoops you want — or, if you’d prefer a pint, you can select which flavor you want your pint to be! Then you choose what time you want to pick up your ice cream (note that delivery isn’t currently available and Salt & Straw hasn’t announced whether that will be an option in the future from this location).

Once you choose your scoop and pickup options, a screen will pop up where you can customize your scoop order. For the scoop customizations, you choose the “Disney Serving Option” of either a cup, cup with a lid, sugar cone, or waffle cone (for an extra $2). Then you choose your flavors! Keep in mind that ordering this way means that you won’t be able to sample the flavors before you commit like you would in-store.

After choosing your flavor(s), you’ll press the green “Add to Order” button at the bottom of the pop-up screen and then press the green “Checkout” button to the right. At that point, you’re taken to a review screen. That’s where it will confirm your order details and process payment. Then, press that green “Place Pickup Order” button at the bottom of the page, and you’re good to go — just head to Salt & Straw in Disney Springs when it’s time!
