Disney World’s 50th anniversary has brought new decorations, merchandise, food, and more!

Happy 50th, Walt Disney World!

But the celebration isn’t over yet — and it’s coming home with us…right to our living rooms! So find a comfy spot on the couch, turn on the TV, and get ready to tune in to a week-long celebration for Disney World’s 50th anniversary!

According to Disney, the marathon starts on Monday, April 11th at 8PM ET/PT, when HGTV’s “100 Day Dream Home” airs an episode where they make a family’s dreams a reality with a 50th anniversary inspired room. (UMMM, looks like we’ll be making some renovations in our own homes too.) To make the home makeover experience even more exciting, the family is surprised with a trip to Walt Disney World to experience both Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom! Then on Tuesday, April 12th at 10PM ET/PT, TLC’s “Doubling Down with the Derricos” shows the Derreco family (Karen and Deon Derrico and their fourteen kids) going to Disney World for their first time ever! They experience all four parks, and stay at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort! To add to the magic, Deon Derreco surprises Karen Derreco with a fairy tale of her own! We were given a sneak peek for this episode too!

To close out the celebration, tune in to Food Network’s “The Kitchen” on Saturday, April 16th at 11AM ET/PT! Jeff Mauro and his son, Lorenzo, go to EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios for spring break! They tasted food from around the world at World Showcase, and see Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge! We got a sneak peek for this one as well!
