Check Out Actual PHOTOS of Disney’s New Cruise Ship, the ‘Wish’

In case you haven’t heard, Disney is building a NEW cruise ship, called the Disney Wish. This ship looks like the fanciest one yet, with new dining experiences and shows, adults-only areas and kids’ clubs, and the first-ever Disney attraction at sea!

We’ve brought you all kinds of information about the Wish, from details about the new offerings onboard to updates on bookings and itineraries. But now we’re bringing you a NEW look at this ship, with actual photos of the Wish in the shipyard where it’s being built in Germany!

First of all, we’d like to give a huge shoutout and thank you to Stephan Schröder, one of our readers who lives in Germany and sent us these photos! The Disney Wish is being built at the Meyer Werft Shipyard, which is located in Papenburg, Germany.

From the photos, you can see the AquaMouse (the first-ever Disney attraction at sea) located up on the top deck of the ship. And if you look closely at the back, you’ll see Rapunzel painting the ship’s name on the stern.

A look at the front

The Wish has 15 passenger decks, and it’ll be the biggest ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet. Onboard, there are 3 brand-new restaurants, including one with a Frozen theme and another with a Marvel theme!

We also got a look at the front of the ship, which has an image of Captain Minnie, along with other Disney characters and some scroll designs. Minnie debuted as a captain of Disney’s cruise ships in 2019 as part of an initiative to inspire “the next generation of female leaders.” She’s taking the helm of this newest ship, and you’ll be able to meet her and other characters onboard.
