Disney World's NEW Merch Collection Was Inspired By…Carbs?!

Pasta, pizza, and pesto; the winning trio of Italian foods! If you gave up carbs for Lent, we’re sorry to torture you, because what we’re about to discuss is going to involve a lot of those Italian delights. Speaking of carbs, if you’ve been around for a while, you probably know that we LOVE the Via Napoli restaurant in the EPCOT World Showcase — it’s full of incredible homemade pizza. If you, too, find yourself daydreaming about a hearty pasta meal or a cheesy slice of pizza, you’ve come to the right place.

The Italy pavilion is SO beautiful!

We found a new merchandise collection in the Italy pavilion in the EPCOT World Showcase featuring all of our FAVORITE Italian foods. Let’s take a look!

The cute little store in the Italy pavilion called La Bottega Italiana has an entire wall of new merchandise! We found aprons, tote bags, placemats, and a dish towel!

Cooking can be a messy endeavor, so protect yourself with an apron! We found several new aprons in the new Italian foods merchandise collection, and each apron is $34.99. First, we found this bright green Il Pesto apron, which features a black center pocket and some fun illustrations!

After you eat at Via Napoli, you might find yourself thinking, “I LOVE pizza!” Celebrate your love of arguably the best food of all time (except for Disney’s subpar puffy pizza; that doesn’t count) with this adorable black apron!

We DO love pizza — how did they know?!

If you’re more of a pasta person, there’s also this blue “I 🖤 pasta” apron for $34.99. Pizza vs. pasta — we can’t pick a favorite! Can you?

Yes, yes, and YES!

We can also credit Italy with some of the best coffee in the world! If you’re cool enough to drink espresso out of a tiny cup each morning or find yourself ordering mocaccino at your local café, this is the apron for you.

The new merchandise collection also includes several matching placemats for $12.99 each. This “I love pizza” design is so cute — we’re suddenly craving a fresh margarita pizza, anyone else?

This pesto placemat is basically a how-to for amateur pesto makers! All you need is a little basil, parmesan, salt and pepper, garlic pine nuts, and extra virgin olive oil! It’s that simple!

Have you perfected the ol’ pasta twirl with your fork? If so, you deserve a set of these placemats; you clearly know your stuff.
