Is anyone else still in serious need of a nap after losing an hour this past weekend?
Daylight Savings was a couple of days ago, but we can still tell we lost that hour of sleep. When napping isn’t an option, we’ve got to turn to the next best thing: caffeine! Lucky for us, we spotted a seasonal coffee flavor in Disney World today to fulfill all of our caffeine needs.
The Game Changer (yep, that’s literally its name!) is a cold brew drink at Joffrey’s locations around Disney World that usually comes out around St. Patrick’s Day. It’s called the Game Changer because it originated at the Joffrey’s location in the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex!
This drink is cold-brew coffee with a shot of espresso, Irish cream syrup, and light cream for $6.49. You can also “make it spirited” by adding Irish cream or coffee liqueur, which bumps the price up to $13.99.
Last year, we thought this drink was very tasty! It’s less sweet than most specialty coffees at Joffrey’s, since the extra shot of espresso balances out the Irish cream syrup. But you can always ask for more of the syrup if you prefer your drinks on the sweeter side.
And if you really want this to be a “Game Changer,” we’d absolutely recommend adding in the Irish cream or liqueur. We think the added flavor would take the drink to the next level.
We’re excited to see this drink return for the upcoming holiday! You can find it at most Joffrey’s locations in Disney World, and we spotted it in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and at a Joffrey’s location by the Skyliner station at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort today.
Note that it is a little more expensive now than it was last year. In 2021, the non-alcoholic version was $5.69, and the alcoholic version was $11.99. Keep following DFB for more of the latest Disney food news.
