February is almost over (can you believe that?), which means there’s a very important holiday coming up soon!
St. Patrick’s Day is fast approaching, and there are a few different ways to celebrate in Disney World. But the best place to be by far will be Raglan Road in Disney Springs. And now we’ve got the whole line-up for this year’s St. Patrick’s Day festivities at the authentic Irish pub!
Raglan Road hosts the Mighty St. Patrick’s Festival every year to celebrate “the mother of all Irish holidays.” This year the festival will take place from March 11th through the 17th. That’s a full week of St. Patrick’s Day fun!
During this time, you can enjoy Irish dishes like fish and chips and shepherd’s pie along with a NEW drink, “So Berry Les.” This is a locally crafted seltzer that is named to honor John Cooke’s (who co-owns Raglan Road) father Les. The seltzer is light and refreshing, and it’s infused with strawberries and Key Lime juice.
On every day during that week, there will be special live entertainment both in the restaurant and out on the patio.
Some of that entertainment will be Lisa Canny Band (an All-Ireland champion on the harp and banjo), JigJam (a quintet that blends traditional Irish songs with Bluegrass music), Emerald Shore (a traditional Irish music ensemble), and more.
Of course, the Raglan Road Irish Dancers will be performing throughout the festival as well.
Here’s the full line-up for the week’s entertainment. Friday, March 11th:
Saturday, March 12th, and Sunday, March 13th:
Monday, March 14th, and Tuesday, March 15th:
Wednesday, March 16th:
Friday, March 17th (St. Patrick’s Day):
You will need a reservation for this restaurant if you’re planning to visit between March 11th and March 16th. You can book your table on Raglan Road’s website. If you want to go on March 17th (St. Patrick’s Day), note that Raglan Road is not accepting any reservations for this day. Entrance will be first-come, first-serve (so you’ll want to get there early — this spot will open at 10AM on that day). A $20 cover charge will be required for all guests ages 18 and older on March 17th only.
Mark your calendars for March 11th through the 17th if you want to celebrate St. Patrick’s day in true Irish fashion! And keep following DFB for more updates from Disney World.
