Two Places in Disney World Are Getting New Names Thanks to This Collaboration

Disney is no stranger to collaborations, but a new relationship was just announced that is way bigger than a new bag or clothing line.

We’ve seen purse, jewelry, makeup, and more brands team up with Disney to make special merchandise in the past, but now, a new collaboration with a major company will actually be bringing some changes to Disney World.

State Farm and Disney are starting a new, multi-year relationship spanning Disney Parks and Resorts and Disney Advertising Sales, allowing both brands to engage in new and important ways together.

In celebration of this new relationship, State Farm surprised a good neighbor family in North Carolina on Good Morning America with a trip to Walt Disney World! The mother-daughter team started a lemonade stand to give back to the less fortunate by using proceeds to create care packages for those in need. Disney also shared a sneak peek of what’s to come from this collaboration with State Farm. State Farm will be the presenting sponsor of the brand-new planDisney Podcast! The podcast will have expert planDisney panelists that will offer insightful tips, helpful suggestions, and inside looks for people getting ready for their Disney vacations.

Keeping with the theme of podcasts, State Farm will also present the popular “Five Fantastic Things to Watch This Weekend” segment on the weekly D23 Inside Disney podcast!

We should start to see elements of this new relationship with State Farm at Walt Disney World soon, like an expanded presence at the 2022 Disney Dreamers Academy and a sponsorship of the 2023 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend. They will also sponsor two venues at Walt Disney World Resort: State Farm Waterview Park at Disney Springs and the State Farm Field House at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

Disney and State Farm will also be teaming up on events such as the State Farm Good Neighbor Month celebration in September, which will feature activities with some Disney magic. Stay tuned to DFB for more Disney news and updates!
