The Magic Kingdom in Disney World is celebrating its 50th Anniversary — and what better way to celebrate than with special food, drinks, and entertainment?! Of course, you can’t go to a party without a fancy outfit to celebrate the occasion, so Disney made sure to release TONS of 50th Anniversary-inspired merchandise. Disney even made retro Magic Kingdom CROCS!

50 never looked so good!

During our most recent trip to the Magic Kingdom, we found some 50th Anniversary merchandise that’s been hard to buy online! If you’re planning a trip to Disney World soon, keep this new item on your radar!

Before we dive in, let us give you a little context. As part of the 50th Anniversary celebration, Disney created 50 special gold character statues that are displayed throughout all four Disney parks. Eventually, guests will be able to interact with these statues using new technology! But for now, they’re just pretty to look at (and photograph)!

Of course, these new statues came with new MERCHANDISE! We’ve been seeing mini replicas of some of the character statues sold around Disney World (and online), like this $99 Tinker Bell statue sold in Bonjour! Village Gifts in the Magic Kingdom.

A teeny tiny Tink!

You can also buy a pack of mini 50th Anniversary character statues in ornament form! There are four different sets of ornaments, and each set includes characters from a different park. These cuties are $49.99. Still pretty expensive, but better than $99!

These guys are EVERYWHERE!

So what if you’re interested in these gold characters statues, but you can’t bring yourself to spend $50-$100 on Disney merchandise? Luckily, Disney ALSO released a collection of mini 50th Anniversary character statues, and these collectible figures are only $9.99!

We originally found these $10 character statues online, but they sold out VERY quickly! Now we’re happy to report that The Emporium on Main Street, U.S.A. is also selling these blind boxes!

Each figure is just 2.5″ tall, making these the teeniest (and cheapest) versions of the original character statues we’ve seen so far! Currently, there are 10 different statues to collect — which is your favorite?
