A Crunchy & Colorful Disney World Treat is Making an Epic Comeback!

Kermit the Frog once sang, “Why are there so many songs about rainbows?” And honestly we are HERE for all the rainbow content.

We got a Rainbow Connection-inspired overlay at EPCOT for the Festival of the Arts and when Pride Month arrives every summer we get a ton of rainbow merchandise, snacks, and more. But now we’ve learned that a delicious rainbow snack is making an epic comeback!

Remember the Rainbow Crunch Cake we had last year from Gideon’s Bakehouse in Disney Springs as part of Pride Month? In case you missed it, this was a (GIANT) 3-layer vanilla confetti cake slice all done up in rainbow colors with marshmallow buttercream and cake crumbs. Just look at that gorgeous colorful icing!

When we had it back in 2021, we felt like this was a perfect pick for those looking for light, fluffy flavors (it wasn’t as rich and dense as some other options, which can be a good thing).

We Want an Entire Cake to Ourselves!

Well, we’ve got some great news…that cake is back! Unlike before though, this time it’s sticking around for much longer! Gideon’s Bakehouse at Disney Springs just announced that it would be part of their regular menu as part of their “Pride Day Friday” lineup.

The cake will be available at their Disney Springs and East End Market locations every Friday and there’s no stop date set so you can hopefully enjoy it for many Fridays to come! That’s right, you can now eat this cake EVERY Friday, folks!
