Here at DFB, we’re constantly scouring the shelves of Disney World gift shops to find the merchandise items that we think you’ll love and need to know about.
So much new merchandise has come out in the past few months!
In the past few months, we’ve found a bunch of new merch, with everything from holiday-specific products to 50th Anniversary collections. And today, we found a brand-new toy…one that even adults may want!
In The Emporium at Magic Kingdom, we found yet ANOTHER glow wand (seriously, these things are just popping up all over the place right now), but this one is themed to Sorcerer Mickey. So what’s so special about it? Well, we’re glad you asked!
A brand-new glow wand!
First of all, it lights up all the way from the top to the bottom! The handle with the photo of Mickey Mouse even glows — and it’s bigger than most glow wands we see in the parks.
That’s a lot of glow.
But the REALLY cool part about it is the projector in the bottom of the handle. (Yeah, that’s right!) It projects little photos wherever you point it, which is pretty neat during the daytime, but would be super cool at night. It’s like your own personal Mickey Mouse movie — we could watch it all day!

It has all kinds of fun little features, and we totally wouldn’t blame you if you wanted to buy one for yourself! They’re $25.35 each, and you’ll definitely want to pick it up in the park because here’s the kicker — they’re more EXPENSIVE online. On shopDisney, the Sorcerer Mickey Mouse Light-Up Wand is $26.99. It’s not huge savings, but if you have to pay to ship as well, it makes a difference.
