REVIEW: Disney World Made a Unique 50th Anniversary Treat…And it PAID OFF!

It might be a new year, but we’re still celebrating Disney World’s 50th Anniversary! A whole new wave of delicious 50th Anniversary treats have just arrived, and after all the delicious dishes we’ve already tried, we’re excited to see what they have to offer.

Today, we’re trying a new 50th Anniversary treat from Pinocchio Village Haus in Magic Kingdom!

Pinocchio Village Haus is a Counter Service restaurant that features Italian-inspired cuisine and delicious treats! This spot has had a few misses in the past (we’re still sad about that one pizza we had there) but we remain hopeful about its new offerings!

The Orange and Almond Cake, which features an orange and almond tart topped with Orange Blossom cream, and roasted almonds, is a new 50th Anniversary treat at Pinocchio Village Haus! You can grab this one for $6.19.

Isn’t she lovely?

It’s themed to “it’s a small world” and features a cute little flower on a white chocolate disk on top, along with some mandarin oranges.

Definitely gets points for the presentation!

It had a strong almond flavor in the tart, and we really enjoyed the Orange Blossom cream on the top. It had a slight citrus flavor to it, but not so strong that it was sour or anything. That little bit of sweetness really helped balance out the whole dessert.

We definitely enjoyed this one!

All in all, this would be great for you if you’re hoping to pass by those decadent chocolate treats and try something more out-of-the-box and refreshing.
