One of the most highly-anticipated original series, The Book of Boba Fett, premiered today on Disney+!
If you’re looking to celebrate the arrival of the new show, head straight to Disney Springs and stop by Amorette’s Patisserie for a unique dessert you won’t find anywhere else in Disney World!
Over at Amorette’s is where you’ll find the Book of Boba Fett Petit Cake!
This galactic goodie is a Chocolate Chiffon Cake with Peanut Butter Mousse, Banana Mousse, and Peanut Butter Chips.
As is the case with Amorette’s petit cakes, this dessert ain’t cheap — coming in at $22, it’s one of the pricier sweets you’ll find in Disney World. It’s definitely big enough to split with a friend or two, however!
We’ll admit, we were a little nervous biting into this dessert — sometimes with banana you can wind up with a fake, artificial flavor, but that wasn’t the case today!
We found that the peanut butter and banana flavors worked really well together, and the peanut butter chips gave everything a nice crunch. Best of all, the cake itself wasn’t too sweet!
The icing, however, was a different story. It was very sweet and very thick, and we didn’t particularly enjoy it! This might be one of those cakes where you wind up digging around the frosting to get to the good stuff — the cake!
As tasty as these petit cakes from Amorette’s tend to be, we still can’t help but scratch our heads over the price tag. At over $24 after tax, we could purchase an entire meal elsewhere! These petit cakes are more than just sweets, however. They’re really pretty, well-crafted desserts (other gorgeous ones we’ve enjoyed include the 50th Anniversary Celebration Petit Cake and the “I Am Your Father” Petit Cake). So you’re definitely paying for more than just the ingredients. Be sure to follow along for more of the latest snacks from around Disney World!
