Coconut Dole Whip Churro Sundae
But, sometimes those snacks need a bit of improvement, in our opinion. We’ve added Dole Whip to churros to make a sundae, made an EXTRA cheesy Mickey Pretzel, and even made that blue milk taste better in Galaxy’s Edge! And, we have a NEW snack hack for you to try out in EPCOT!
This is the new Viennoiserie Au Pommes, or Apple Crumble pastry, from Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie in EPCOT’s France pavilion.
Apple Crumble
This pastry is $4, but we found a way to make it even BETTER! If you go next door to L’Artisan des Glaces, you can get a scoop of ice cream for $6.13 — we think you know where this is going!
Let’s combine these two!
We chose to get a vanilla ice cream to pair with the apple crumble, because what’s a more classic combo than apple and vanilla ice cream?!
A thing of beauty
The crumble is a typical pastry topped with apple and cinnamon. There is not much filling, but you can taste definitely taste the apple flavor. We chose to put the ice cream on top and it was an absolute hit! This was amazing.

We think the crumble without the ice cream would’ve been a bit dry and plain — the vanilla ice cream really turned this into the perfect dessert combo. It almost reminded us of an apple pie!
So much less dry!
So, we definitely recommend adding some ice cream to this pastry! The treat is great for the apple pie lovers out there and the ice cream made it 10 times better. Our grand total for the dessert came out to $10.13, and you can for sure share this with another person, so we think it’s worth the extra cost! Stay tuned to DFB for more Disney World snack tips and hacks.
