Happy birthday, Walt! Who could have predicted that this little guy would go on to create the most magical place on earth? Back in October, Disney World celebrated its 50th anniversary, but today we’re celebrating the birthday of the man who made it all possible: Walt Disney! But did you know that there’s a place in Disney World where you can celebrate Walt’s legacy year-round?

There’s a majorly-overlooked little area in Disney’s Hollywood Studios that pays tribute to Walt Disney, and most people just walk right by. In honor of Walt’s birthday, we decided to stop in and show you around. Who knows, you might even learn something new!

Outside the hustle and bustle of Toy Story Land, there’s a building FULL of Disney history called Walt Disney Presents: One Man’s Dream! Here, you can learn about Walt Disney, the creation of Mickey Mouse, and so much more.

Walt Disney Presents: One Man’s Dream

The exhibit has a lot of interesting information and fun photographs from the storied history of Walt Disney.

Did you know Walt Disney’s television debut was on CHRISTMAS?

Speaking of television, let’s take a minute to appreciate this picture. Sure, Slinky Dog Dash is fun, but how cool is this throwback Mickey Mouse Club photo?! Talk about a blast from the past.

Next year’s Halloween costume, anyone?

You can also learn a little bit of history about Mickey Mouse! The signs talk about Steamboat Willie and a few other classic Mickey cartoons.

Of course, any Walt Disney museum wouldn’t be complete without some Disneyland history!

There’s also a little secret hidden in this exhibit! If you look closely, you can see a silhouette of Walt standing in the Disneyland castle.
