We’ve been really busy trying all the new holiday treats Disney World has to offer, like the Eggnog Cupcake, a Gingerbread Cupcake topped with a polar bear, and even an Elf Dome Cake.
If you make your way to Disney Springs, Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew recently released six new holiday donuts, so we had to see these treats with our own eyes. Take a look!
Excited to try more holiday treats, we visited Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew in Disney Springs to check out their new holiday donuts. There are six different holiday donuts to choose from and you can get all six for $28 or individually for $5.75 each.
We had to try the Christmas Ornament Donut first, and it’s your basic glazed donut covered in red frosting and topped with sugar ornaments, decorating gel, and white sprinkles.
In Everglazed’s Instagram post, the photo showed a donut decorated with Christmas lights, but the one we got was actually decorated with candy ornaments, and they had an almost cookie-like texture. Overall, it was a delicious and festive donut, but it’s VERY sweet.
Next we tried the Gingerbread Donut, which is the cutest! It’s decorated with white frosting, green and red decorating gel, and a gingerbread sugar topper.
Ironically, the Gingerbread Donut is not actually gingerbread flavored. It’s actually a glazed donut filled with a hearty amount of strawberry jelly. And by hearty, we mean there’s a LOT of jelly.
Combined with the thick layer of frosting and the sugar gingerbread man, this donut is a major sugar bomb. If you’re not a fan of sweets or jelly-filled donuts, you can probably skip this donut.
Both of these donuts are a decent size and you could easily share them with someone else, and they’d make a great breakfast treat or dessert after dinner! Keep checking back with DFB for more Disney World holiday treat news and reviews!
The Eggnog Cupcake in Disney World? We’ll take 10, thanks.
