Holiday decorations, treats, merchandise, events, and more are popping up throughout Disney World!
We’ve already made our way through quite a few of the new offerings (and we’ve even got a convenient printable to help you navigate some of the holiday treats). Today our culinary adventures led us to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort for a returning treat that’s ADORABLE when it comes to looks. But, how does it taste?
Over at Kona Island in the Polynesian you’ll find the returning Holiday “Elf” Dome Cake! This treat is made of vanilla cake with eggnog filling, white chocolate glaçage, and buttercream décor.
We’ve had this creation in the past, though its looks have changed a bit this year.
The cake is still as cute as can be and features that red and green buttercream, but it’s missing the elf ears, nose, and more defined eyes. You can click here to see a comparison from previous years.
Still, the treat is adorable, bright & colorful, fun & festive, and totally Instagrammable. Also, anyone else just feel the need to say “bye buddy, I hope you find your dad”? Nope, just us? Okay, cool…cool, cool, cool.

For those looking for more complex and exciting flavors, this isn’t it. But, we think that its simple flavors could make it a bit hit for those looking for something that isn’t too complicated. We think it could especially be a big hit with kids.
If you want to give it a try, you can grab it from Kona Island in the Polynesian for $6. It is also available at Capt. Cook’s. It will be at both spots from now through December 31st, so grab it while you can.
