There are so many great holiday treats to try in Disney World right now!
We’ve been hitting the parks and resorts to check out the new and returning sweet and savory options for the holiday season, and we love having so many treats to choose from! In Disney Springs alone, there are so many snacks to check out. Today, we made our way to AristoCrepes to enjoy a returning treat.
Over at the AristoCrepes stand in Disney Springs, you can find the Cherries Jubilee Bubble Waffle once again!
It’s a bubble waffle filled with scoops of vanilla ice cream, cherries jubilee filling, praline pieces, and whipped cream.
The sign doesn’t actually say praline pieces this year, but our waffle had them.
Doesn’t this thing just scream “holiday season?!” Last year, we really enjoyed this dish. Could the treat live up to the hype yet again?
The short answer: Yes. Yes it can. This waffle is fantastic, with sweetness coming from the ice cream that is balanced out by a delicious tartness from the cherries — it’s got it all. And the praline pieces on top provided the perfect crunch, which we think is a great texture contrast to the rest of the dish.
The waffle is served warm, so that ice cream melts pretty fast. But it doesn’t really matter, because it’s so delicious — you’ll probably want to eat this treat fast anyway. And the portion is pretty decent, and big enough to share in our opinion.
Basically, it’s a holiday explosion on top of a delicious waffle — not much to really complain out! And it does feel a bit like an explosion (in a good way), with toppings more spread out than what we saw last year.
If you want to try this one out, it’ll cost you $8.99. Make sure to head to Disney Springs to try it between now and December 30th. In the meantime, stay tuned to DFB for all the holiday snack reviews!
