There are LOTS of merchandise options available in Disney World — from plushes to shirts and ears and everything in between.

Some of the merchandise options are pricey while others can be a bit more budget-friendly. But, you might be surprised to find just HOW expensive some Disney merchandise can be!

Earlier this year, Disney’s PRICEY nuiMOs plushes were released in the parks. These adorable mini plushes are designed to look like classic Disney characters. They’re posable, incredibly cute, and can be dressed up in all kinds of awesome outfits designed just for them.

But, as we’ve mentioned, these plushes come with more than just lots of Instagram photo possibilities. They also come with a HEFTY price tag. The plushes themselves are generally $21.99.

But, if you really want to get those perfect Instagram photos, you’ll probably want to grab one of the many cute outfits available for them. We’ve seen Halloween costumes, 50th Anniversary dresses, and MORE all released specifically for these toys! Some of these outfits are pricey but won’t cost you an arm and a leg. Many of them are around $12.99 or so.

But, some of these outfits cost just as much than the toys themselves! Recently, we spotted a NEW Star Wars Spirit Jersey for your nuiMOs plush that is priced at $21.99. That’s $21.99 for a spirit jersey your TOY will wear.

That got us thinking…is it more expensive to buy a Disney shirt for your toy than for yourself (a full size human)?! The answer is…it depends!

Of course, a regular, human-sized spirit jersey is going to cost you a pretty penny. This new Star Wars holiday one is priced at $74.99.

And many other shirts from Disney World will typically set you back around $24.99, $36.99, or potentially more.

For the most part, shirts under $20 seem to be those made for kids (though you can’t forget that some of those larger sizes in kids’ clothing could fit a more petit adult).

But, if you look carefully, you can find some full-sized, human clothing items for LESS than the amount it’ll cost you to buy a shirt for your nuiMo.

For example, right now you can grab a basic women’s T-Shirt featuring some beautiful art of Ariel for $19.95…

…a Mandalorian standard t-shirt for $19.95…

…or even a Stitch Crashes Disney standard shirt for $19.95.

For the most part, many of the adult shirts at this price were the customizable ones we found online. But, if you shop online during a good sale, you could also potentially score some more pricey items for less than it would cost you to buy a nuiMOs spirit jersey.

Overall, adult clothes are more expensive to buy than a shirt for a tiny nuiMOs doll (seems appropriate considering an adult shirt is MUCH larger than what your toy would wear). But, in some circumstances, you can buy full-size shirts for LESS than it would cost you to buy a spirit jersey for your tiny plush.

If buying a Star Wars spirit jersey for your tiny plush is what brings you joy and the price tag doesn’t matter, then shop on! But, if you’re all about getting the best bang for your buck, then buying cute (but pricey) clothes for your tiny plush might not be the best route to go.
