One 50th Anniversary Item Just Got MORE Expensive in Disney World

We’ve seen a LOT of 50th Anniversary merchandise released recently — from ears to shirts and everything in between!

So many to choose from!

The popular accessories brand Dooney & Bourke, known for their fabulous Disney-inspired bags and wallets, also recently released a 50th Anniversary collection. Previously, we had shared that some of these bags were actually CHEAPER when purchased in Disney World when compared to the prices online. But, now it looks like things have changed!

There are three new purses in the Dooney and Bourke 50th Anniversary collection: a satchel, a crossbody bag, and a tote bag.

As we noted above, we had previously noticed that there was a price difference between some of the purses online vs. in-store, with a few items costing more on shopDisney. Now, however, the prices of the purses in Disney World match the (higher) cost of the bags we saw on shopDisney.

Crossbody bag

The crossbody bag was previously $198 in the parks (versus $248 online), but now the price has increased to $248 in the parks.

They stuck a new price tag over the old one!

Both the satchel, which is $298, and the tote, which is $268, stayed the same price. Those prices were previously the same online and in Disney World, and there’s been no change there.

You can typically find these bags at Uptown Jewelers in the Magic Kingdom, the Creations Shop in EPCOT, and Legends of Hollywood in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The bags also used to be available online, but currently all 3 are sold out. Be sure to check back and see if they’re eventually restocked.
