We learned today that actress Scarlett Johansson and Disney have reached a settlement regarding the lawsuit over Black Widow.
In the announcement made by The Hollywood Reporter, we learned a very interesting detail regarding the future of Johansson’s working relationship with the Walt Disney Company!
In a statement made by Disney Studios chairman Alan Bergman, it was noted that “We appreciate [Johansson’s] contributions to the Marvel Cinematic Universe and look forward to working together on a number of upcoming projects, including Disney’s Tower of Terror.”
The film version of ‘Tower of Terror’ has been in development for the past several months, with Scarlett Johansson reportedly slated to produce star in the film. But due to the lawsuit over Black Widow, the future of her involvement in that project was called into question.
