There’s A New 50th Anniversary Scavenger Hunt in Disney World!

Disney World’s 50th Anniversary is less than two weeks away and Disney is gearing up for the big day (recently, 100 new pieces of anniversary merch dropped on the same day!).

Today, we spotted a fun way Disney is commemorating its 50 years of magic!

We spotted a sign that said “Walt Disney World Railroad” over by Capt. Cook’s at Disney’s Polynesian Resort! Wondering what it was, we asked about it inside.

What is this?

It turned out that was a new scavenger hunt at the Polynesian! All of the clues are about different attractions at Magic Kingdom and by finding the plaques with the names of each attraction, you can find out what letter matches with what clue. For example, Clue 1 was about the Railroad, which was the letter D! Knowing this, we filled in the blank next to Clue 1 with the letter D. After filling out all the clues, you can use the letter you found to complete the phrase at the bottom.

On the other side of the sheet, there’s a story about the opening of Disney World and the old A, B, C, D, and E tickets that were used at the parks to categorize rides! It was also implied on the sheet that this scavenger hunt would be coming to other resorts.
