Disney World’s 50th Anniversary is almost here!
Cinderella Castle stage set for the ABC Special
The decorations are up, the statues are here, and it’s almost time to celebrate. If you aren’t able to be at Disney World on the big day, don’t worry! ABC will be airing a two-hour special on October 1st.
Recently, ABC took to Instagram to give us a first look at the new 50th Anniversary special!
The special will be a look back at 50 years of Disney World and will be hosted by Whoopi Goldberg. Celebrity guest stars will include Julie Andrews, Tom Brady, John Stamos, Halle Bailey, Melissa Joan Hart, George Lucas, Candace Cameron Bure, and Christina Aguilera.

The special will feature exclusive behind-the-scenes footage from Disney World, including an exclusive look into the work of Cast Members and more. There will also be a look at the future of Disney World, with a sneak peek at new attractions like Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and the new Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser Hotel!
