REVIEW: Skip the Cupcake & Grab the NEW Tres Leches Cake in Disney Springs!

Not only are there tons of restaurants and shops to visit, but Disney Springs has special celebrations with exclusive food and experiences. This year, we’ve celebrated Black History Month, Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, Princess Week, and more, but now it’s time for Hispanic Latinx Heritage Month!

There are plenty of ways to celebrate the month all over Disney World, but today we’re headed to Amorette’s Patisserie to check out the Tres Leches. This is one of the special treats Disney Springs is offering this month!

The treat is a Spanish 3-milk dessert with cherry mousse, and vanilla chiffon with Bailey’s cream. Like many of the treats here, it’s gorgeous to look at — so how does it taste?

Tres Leches Cake

We’ve had a LOT of cakes in the past at Amorette’s Patisserie. But, the Tres Leches has to be one of the best! The cake was extremely light with a creamy filling that made each bite smooth. Plus, adding a bite of the chocolate piece with the cake gave it a small crunch that made us want more ASAP!

Look at Those Layers!

The only thing we would have loved more is extra Bailey’s, since the flavor was pretty subtle. The Tres Leches cake is bound to be a hit with dessert fans of all ages. Whether you’re a fan of simple treats or you’re just looking for something different from a sugary Disney cupcake, the Tres Leches should go on your list of must-haves in Disney Springs!
